TRAILS END QUILTERS' GUILD
SPECIAL PROJECTSDEBI'S CHARITY QUILTS 2011-2012 COMMUNITY PROJECTSDebi's Charity Quilts' will support the following organizations as our charities to receive quilts for the fiscal year July 2011 through June 2012. Kit instructions are available in the "How-To Techniques" section of our website.Adkar Shriner's will receive 25 quilts and should measure between "50 x 65" to "55 x 70" in size.Haley Palmer Foundation will receive 10 quilts (of which 9 quilts from our 2010-2011 surplus will be used in meeting this goal). 2012 MONTHLY FABRIC EXCHANGE Members may elect to bring a fat quarter to each meeting and, in return, will receive a ticket to participate in a free drawing to be held at the end of each meeting for a chance to win all the fat quarters presented. PIZZA BOX QUILT EXCHANGEIn January 2012, we will kick off our "Pizza Box Quilt" exchange which will be a lot of fun. Participants need to pick up an empty pizza box at the January meeting and bring it back to the February meeting with your fabric inside. Detailed instructions can be found on our website under the "How-To Techniques" tab. The UPC code is worth $o.o3 cents; and, if we can collect 1,000 within a year, we can earn an extra $30.00! So, keep clipping and collecting those Best Choice® UPC labels and turn them in to Paula Schumann at the next scheduled meeting
